AN INTRODUCTION TO GOOGLE'S NEW OS : ANDROID WEAR

Google introduces there new OS, which is expected to help smart watches have a new beginning.

                             

ANDROID WEAR

                  The all new Android WEAR is almost a twin brother of the most popular OS in the world right now, which is the the android OS itself. Wear, is an OS which is specially designed for gadgets that we wear on our body. From this it is clear that at present wear aims at creating a revolution mainly in the field of smart watches. Apart from the announcement of android wear it was also announced the arrival of smart watches in the name of Motorola moto 360, and LG g watch. These smart watches are run using the new android OS, which is android wear. 

                      Even though, at present no companies have yet dominated in the field of smart watches and their sales, the leading companies in this field are Pebble, Samsung, and Sony. Pebble smart watches are run in their own OS known as the pebble OS. When Samsung introduced their smart watch in the name of Samsung Galaxy Gear last year it was run by the android OS. But as the product did not attract many, Samsung removed the Galaxy from the name of the smart watch and reintroduced the product in the name of Gear 2. The main difference that was enabled in this smart watch was that the android OS was removed and it was replaced by, Samsung's OS, Tizen.

           

                            Pebble and Gear were ruling the field of smart watches and this was when Google emerged again in to the scene with the Android wear OS. The expectations on smart watches at present is shifted to a whole new level, by the introduction of smart watches run by Android wear. The problems faced by Google glass such as the problem of battery life, security etc is also covered up by the new Smart watches run by Wear. Companies such as Samsung, HTC, ASUS, etc are also engaged in the workshop of android wear.
