FREEKALL : THE BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA TO FREE CALLING

                                      Just imagine a situation in which you don't have any balance left in your phone. This means two things : you cannot make any calls from your phone neither can you use any other free call apps or messenger apps,  as you don't have any balance which in turn means you cannot use any data from your internet. What will you do if such a situation occurs?

                                                   The answer to this question is given by some students from M.S. Ramayya Institute of Technology, Bangalore. All people who have or have'nt possessed a smartphone, or internet connection, or messenger application ,etc with them can use this facility regardless of the phones they posses. Let it be the evergreen nokia phone or the iPhone 5 S, anyone who has a phone can use this facility absolutely free of cost. Now you might come with the question how is this facility possible?

                              The working or technology of freekall is pretty simple. All you have to do is make a missed call from your mobile phone to 08049202060 or 080492020602. Immediately after you make this missed call you will receive a call back. Attend this call and dial the number you wish to call and after dialling press the '#' key. At the time of ringing instead of the ringing you will be hearing advertisements, and after this you can talk. And the thing to be noted here is that you have to hear a 10 second advertisement in between the call after every 2 minutes.

                                  This facility, for testing basis, was introduced on the starting of March and it received more than 400,000 of calls from a short and limited time frame. As the beta launching was successful this facility will be reintroduced on April 15 th. Following this, with Government recognition, it will be also made possible to call ISD calls freely using this facility.
